We are seeking a dedicated Location Manager to oversee all aspects of our retail store operations as well as support the nursing and in-home patients we serve. Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls, take customer orders, and coordinate with the Equipment Coordinator to ensure accurate patient equipment needs.
- Serve as the primary Coordinator of Patient Services for the location.
- Maintain open communication with patients, clients, and referral sources.
- Respond to patient/client questions and concerns and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Assist and support walk-in customers.
- Prioritize and delegate job tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Set up new patient/client files and verify private insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid coverage.
- Coordinate with patients to schedule monthly oxygen (O₂) visits and deliveries.
- Initiate and review paperwork (CMN/COPO, etc.) for completeness and accuracy.
- Ensure store, vehicles, and equipment are clean, properly serviced, and accurately tagged.
- Ensure sales tickets are accurate and send required documentation and payments to the controller.
- Order equipment and supplies in a timely manner.
- Communicate with other departments regarding updates to policies and procedures.
- Maintain equipment maintenance and rental files, including monthly Medicaid coverage verification and pending patient follow-ups.
- Maintain concentrator exchanges, checks, and serial numbers in the system.
- Prepare and type follow-up referral letters.
- Maintain tracking logs for compressed gas.
- Comply with OSHA, DOT, FDA, HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid regulations.
- Participate in shared on-call duties.
- Market the company in a positive and professional manner.
- Participate in Quality Assurance programs and e-learning/traditional training.
- Assist with recruiting, evaluating, and selecting personnel.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Support and uphold Long Term Medical Corp’s Mission Statement.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous data entry experience.
- Strong phone and customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to learn job duties and the function of equipment/supplies.
- Typing and 10-key proficiency.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Preferred (Not Required)
Previous DME (Durable Medical Equipment) experience.- 2 years of managerial experience.
