Pharmacy Back-End Technician – Long-Term Care Pharmacy
Santa Rosa, CA (Near Memorial Hospital)
Join a dedicated team making a real impact in long-term care. We are seeking a California-licensed Pharmacy Technician to join our closed-door long-term care pharmacy in Santa Rosa. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys accuracy, organization, and collaboration in a fast-paced pharmacy environment—without face-to-face retail interactions.
As a closed-door pharmacy, all patient and customer communication is handled online or by phone, allowing you to focus on quality, efficiency, and patient safety.
Our back-end team focuses on order fulfillment in our closed-door pharmacy setting, including packaging and dispensing of medication, reviewing delivery orders and bins for accuracy, and coordinating stock rotations. Additional tasks and responsibilities include:
- Rotating and working in various assigned pharmacy workstations including Packaging, Staging, Returns, Receiving, Narcotics, Ekit, Compounding, Cycle Fill.
- Receiving product deliveries, pull and stage product for distribution, rotate stock, and coordinate activities with drivers to ensure shipments are accurate and deliveries are timely
- Performing physical inventories of medication
- Opportunity to perform order entry work to process new and refill prescription orders in a timely manner
What We’re Looking For:
- Active California Pharmacy Technician license
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Professional, patient-focused communication skillsMaintain strict adherence to HIPAA, regulatory standards, and ethical best practices
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM
- Saturday rotation approximately every 4 weeks (8:00 AM–12:00 PM)
Anticipated Weekly Hours: 40
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
