What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Technician - FILLING ONLY position at Long Term Care Pharmacy?
We are seeking a Licensed Pharmacy Technician to help fill medication orders at our Long Term Care pharmacy in downtown Santa Rosa. This role focuses exclusively on preparing and unit packaging medications to send to care facilities. You will spend your shift in the dispensing area where you do not interact with customers, answer any phone calls, perform data entry, or deal with insurance. Most techs spend their workday filling orders while sitting on a stool and listen to music on their earbuds. My current fill techs describe this position as a pharmacy tech's dream job!
This job is currently a 40-hour position that is Monday to Friday. It is mostly 9am to 6pm with a one-hour lunch. We do try to be flexible with employees, so we do have some techs working 9:30am to 6:30pm and 10am to 7pm. We also try to accommodate appointments you might have by having you take a longer lunch or coming to work latter in the morning. Although we are open on Saturdays, we currently have a dedicated tech for that shift.

Requirements
- Have a valid Pharmacy Technician License in the state of California
- Capable, able, willing, and happy filling prescriptions
- Can fill at a decent rate/speed
- Being an introvert would be a bonus
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
