A well-established Long-Term Care and Rehabilitation Center in Mid-Michigan is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead and oversee all nursing operations. This position is responsible for ensuring quality resident care, regulatory compliance, staff leadership, clinical oversight, and budget management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and develop the nursing team.
Oversee recruitment, scheduling, training, performance management, and staff development.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Manage admissions, resident care planning, and quality improvement initiatives.
Monitor nursing department budgets, staffing, and operational needs.
Conduct daily rounds and maintain high standards of resident care.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, resident rights, and abuse prevention policies.
Serve as the on-call nursing leader for emergencies.
Qualifications
Current Michigan RN license required.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
Minimum three years of Director of Nursing experience preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, financial, and organizational skills.
CPR and BLS certification required.
Long-term care experience preferred.
