Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM | Onsite
Keep shipments moving and your weekends free. We’re hiring an organized, dependable Shipping Clerk for a temp-to-perm opportunity in Theodore. If you enjoy staying busy, keeping details straight, and making sure orders head out accurately and on time, this could be your next move.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and verify shipping paperwork, including Bills of Lading (BOLs) and invoices.
- Schedule shipments and generate labels through customer portals and shipping platforms.
- Coordinate with logistics partners, customer service, and vendors to keep orders moving.
- Check outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Communicate shipping details and updates to customers and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate, organized shipping records.
- Pitch in with other shipping department tasks as needed.
What You Bring
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and web-based shipping platforms such as UPS and FedEx.
- ERP system experience is a plus.
- Dependability and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and lift up to 32 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.
