Role Description
This is a full-time or part-time, on-site role for a Pharmacist based in Milwaukee, WI. The Pharmacist will be responsible for managing and dispensing medications, providing accurate and safe pharmaceutical care, and advising patients on proper use and potential side effects. Additional responsibilities include overseeing pharmacy operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, supervising pharmacy staff, and offering guidance on health management services such as immunizations and medication therapy management.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in dispensing and managing medications with attention to accuracy and safety
- Knowledge of medication therapy management, compounding, and drug interactions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional patient care and build trust
- Ability to ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and guidelines
- Experience supervising pharmacy operations and leading a team effectively
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited program
- Valid pharmacist license in the state of Wisconsin
- Prior experience in retail or community pharmacy is a plus
