Key Responsibilities
- Partnership Development: Seeks out non-profit organizations, initiatives, and events whose missions align with our company and the Long-Lewis Foundation, prioritizing opportunities where employees can actively volunteer. Builds and maintains relationships with community leaders and nonprofit stakeholders.
- Volunteer Coordination: Encourages and coordinates employee volunteerism by planning and executing multiple community events at once and communicating details to keep employees engaged.
- Event Representation: Represents the company at partnership and charitable events, helping the community see our employees actively serving rather than only giving financially.
- Social Media Content: Meets regularly with the Corporate Marketing Director to plan posts, giveaways, and engagement that highlight our community involvement.
- Internal Collaboration: Works with the Corporate Community Relations Manager, and other team members to find new ways to give back beyond sponsorships and volunteering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Human Resources, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Experience in community relations, employee engagement, volunteer coordination, or event planning
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience managing social media and creating engaging content
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
