Long Island Centers for Speech is looking for a collections assistant to support our collections department with the recovery of outstanding payments.
This is a full time position based in our Stony Brook office.
- Communicate directly with patients regarding their financial responsibility for services received from Long Island Centers For Speech.
- Document all calls timely and accurately.
- Establish payment arrangements per company policy.
- Manage both outstanding insurance and self-pay accounts.
- Status for management of accounts.
- Assist with other billing/collection duties, as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
