We are seeking a self-motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Go-Kart Mechanic / Maintenance Technician. This hands-on role involves working directly with our fleet of go-karts to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently at all times. Ideal candidates will have basic mechanical knowledge, experience using tools, and the ability to follow instructions and learn quickly on the job.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monitors the performance of the karts and the shop.
• Perform routine maintenance on go-karts, including weekly inspections and servicing
• Change and replace tires as needed
• Diagnose and repair minor mechanical issues such as broken or worn parts
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
• Ensure all go-karts are safe and operational before use
• Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times
• Performs other duties as assigned.
IDEALLY YOU’LL HAVE:
• High School diploma or GED from an accredited vocational institution preferred.
• Mechanically inclined with experience using hand and power tools
• Prior experience in a mechanic, maintenance, or karting environment is a plus
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills to handle small parts and tools efficiently.
• Ability to perform tasks that require precise movements and the use of hand tools and equipment.
• Ability to kneel, crouch, and work in awkward positions to reach and repair equipment.
• Sustained physical effort to perform repetitive tasks, such as tightening bolts, adjusting settings, and inspecting vehicles.
• Tolerance for working in varying conditions, including exposure to loud noises, heat, and potential fumes.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.
