Position Description:The Payroll Processor is responsible for implementing all tasks associated with processing the payroll for the agency and works closely with the Finance Department.
This includes preparing and processing the payroll; coordinating and documenting all procedures associated with payroll processing; and organizing and maintaining files. Must demonstrate: (a) knowledge of relevant rules and regulations concerning salary increments, bonuses, and authorized deductions after a period of training: (b) ability to accurately prepare detailed, technical, and confidential payroll forms and documents: (c) knowledge of and proficiency in the operation of computers; (d) knowledge of electronic payroll systems; (e) ability to perform data entry and utilize software; (f) ability to follow oral and written instructions; and, g) ability to operate office machines .
