What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf Camp/ Junior Golf Instructor position at Long Island Golf Camps?
Long Island Golf Camps is the leading operator of golf camps on Long Island. We currently operate camps at 4 golf courses in Nassau and Suffolk Counties during the summer weeks. We also run After School golf instruction programs at each course in the fall and spring months.
Long Island Golf Camps is looking for reliable, dedicated and educated golf instructors to help operate our golf camps and instruct golf to the hundreds of young students who enroll in our programs.
Those who apply for a Counselor Position must have golf experience competing on either a high school or college level team and must have graduated High School. LIGC will hold training sessions to teach all hired counselors our methods of instruction.
Those who apply for our Lead Instructor positions must have a minimum of 2 years of golf instruction experience and/or are members of the PGA of America or enrolled in their intern program.
Positions will be filled by April 6 and will have a start date of April 21 for those hired for Spring After School classes. Those hired as Lead Instructors or Counselors for the Summer Camps will have a start date of June 24, with training taking place the week prior.
