What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender/Server position at Long Island Farm Brewery?
Long Island Farm Brewery is looking for an enthusiastic bartender to provide an excellent experience for our guests. LIFB is a farm brewery operating out of a converted potato barn situated on our family farm / garden center in Eastern Long Island.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for brewery patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and, drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish to go cooler inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Keep taproom clean before, during, and after shift
Skills
- Resume and proven working experience as a bartender a must
- Age 21
- TIPS training (can be completed at time of hiring)
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.20 - $31.52 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
