Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Radiology Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures and producing high-quality images for medical interpretation. Your expertise will play a critical role in helping us provide accurate diagnoses and effective treatments for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform radiographic procedures using X-ray equipment
- Position patients for proper orientation of anatomy
- Apply principles of radiation protection to minimize exposure
- Identify film and/or other identification
- Display proper procedures for preparing, labeling, and dispensing radiographic contrast media
Requirements:
- Current New York State licensure to practice Diagnostic Radiography
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Completion of a two-year approved ARRT School
