What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist/Administrative Assistant position at Long Island Behavioral Medicine?
Greet patients, collect payments, schedule appointments, process prescription refill requests. Other duties include taking detailed messages, letter writing, and other non-medical general office duties. Must be detail oriented and have excellent phone skills, have a working knowledge of Windows OS and MS Office. Familiarity with EHR, NYS HCS, e-prescribing, medical billing a plus but not required.
Part-time and full-time positions available. Flexible hours, student-friendly workplace. Able to accommodate class schedule and may be able to increase hours over breaks and between semesters if desired.
Excellent workplace for aspiring social workers or other healthcare professionals to gain experience in the non-clincial side of operating a mental health practice.
