Long Island Animal Hospital - Westbury, New York
Pay range up to $23/hr depending on experience

If you’re the kind of person who can go from comforting a nervous pet parent to assisting with a nail trim — all before your morning coffee — we think you’ll fit right in here at Long Island Animal Hospital.
We’re looking for a friendly, motivated multitasker to join our close-knit crew in a blended CSR/Veterinary Assistant role. It’s the best of both worlds — one day you’ll be the smiling face at the front desk, helping clients feel at ease; the next, you’ll be right in the exam room, learning the ropes and lending a hand to our doctors and technicians.

What your days might look like
  • Greeting clients with warmth and empathy (bonus points for remembering both their pet’s name and favorite treat).
  • Scheduling appointments, managing records, and keeping the front desk running like a well-oiled machine.
  • Assisting in exam rooms and treatment areas — from prepping patients to lending a hand during procedures.
  • Helping keep our hospital organized, stocked, and sparkling (we do our best).
  • Learning something new every day — because growth and curiosity are part of the job description.

What we’re looking for
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude — we take our work seriously, but we love to laugh along the way.
  • Strong communication skills and genuine compassion for both people and pets.
  • Previous veterinary experience is wonderful, but not required — we’re happy to train the right person who’s eager to learn.
  • The ability to multitask in a sometimes fast-paced, always rewarding environment.
