As a Kitchen Cabinets and Closets Sales Representative, your primary responsibility is to promote and sell our company's kitchen cabinet and closet products to prospective customers, including homeowners, builders, contractors, and interior designers. You will play a crucial role in achieving sales targets, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the growth of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Prospecting: Identify and target potential customers in the residential and commercial markets who require kitchen cabinets and closets for new construction or remodeling projects.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our kitchen cabinet and closet products, including materials, features, styles, and customization options. Be prepared to educate customers on product specifications and benefits.
- Consultative Selling: Listen to customers' needs and preferences, offer expert advice, and recommend suitable kitchen cabinet and closet solutions that meet their requirements. Provide product demonstrations when necessary.
- Quotation and Pricing: Prepare accurate price quotations and proposals for customers. Negotiate terms and conditions to close sales while ensuring profitability.
- Lead Management: Manage leads and inquiries generated through various channels, such as phone calls, emails, walk-ins, and referrals. Follow up with leads promptly and maintain a well-organized lead database.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market developments. Share market insights with the sales team and management.
- Sales Targets: Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Documentation: Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all sales activities, including orders, contracts, and customer correspondence.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales manager, marketing team, and other departments to coordinate marketing campaigns, promotions, and product launches.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Sales or a related field is a plus).
- Proven track record in sales, preferably in the home improvement or construction industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools.
- Knowledge of kitchen cabinet materials, styles, and installation processes.
