What are the responsibilities and job description for the FOH Assistant (Busser) position at Long Doggers Eateries?
At Hemingway's Tavern an outstanding busser is devoted to the cleanliness of the restaurant and bar. You will be a vital part of creating a Hemingway's Tavern Guest experience that is second to none by cleaning and setting tables efficiently and quickly. We are looking for hard working enthusiastic people to join our Server Assistant/bussing team!
The Job:
- Keep dining room floors and all Guest visitation areas clean and dry to ensure our guests' safety while in our restaurants
- Stocking and cleaning bathrooms and hand washing stations
- Bussing tables efficiently-Quickly clean and reset tables according to company standards
- Helping fellow Team Members such as servers and bartenders when appropriate
- Communicate with server and hostess to assure efficient seating, table utilization and Guest service
- Attend to any Guest that might ask for help. Ensure that their concerns are resolved quickly and efficiently
- Look for any work that may need to be done in support of the servers. Complete all side work and any extra duties assigned by managers
- Able to work walking/standing for 100% (up to 8 hours) of shift
- Able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of dishes when necessary (50 lbs.)
