Job Title: Construction Worker
Job Summary:We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in a variety of construction projects, performing tasks that require physical labor, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards. This role involves working both independently and as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris and hazards
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Follow blueprints and instructions from supervisors
- Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous construction or labor experience is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy materials (50 lbs) and perform physical tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Good communication and teamwork skills
