Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our grounds, facilities, and equipment. This role requires a proactive individual who can perform various tasks related to landscape maintenance, lawn care, and general upkeep of outdoor areas.
Duties
- Perform regular maintenance on gardens and landscaped areas to ensure they remain healthy and visually appealing.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various maintenance tasks.
- Irrigate plants and lawns as needed to promote growth and sustainability.
- Conduct lawn care activities including mowing, edging, and fertilizing.
- Assist in groundskeeping efforts to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of outdoor spaces.
- Monitor the health of plants and landscapes, addressing any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to complete larger landscape projects as assigned.
Skills
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for maintenance tasks.
- Knowledge of garden care practices, including irrigation techniques and plant health management.
- Experience in lawn care, groundskeeping, and landscape maintenance is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to achieve maintenance goals.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
