Job Listing: Lot Operations Manager

The Lot Operations Manager is responsible for leading all outside operations with a manufacturing and production mindset, driving throughput, efficiency, and standardization across the vehicle lifecycle—from arrival to sale readiness.
This role is not traditional “lot management”—it is a production leadership position focused on flow, waste elimination, labor optimization, and real-time execution. The ideal candidate will bring lean manufacturing principles into a dynamic, high-volume automotive environment to achieve consistent, predictable, and scalable results.
Description of Duties:
- Manage approximately 20 people
- Work with time cards, employee schedules, and employee needs
- Manage vehicle inventory from entry to exit
- Work with hand held computer tablets
- Communicate and coordinate with different departments (mechanic – detail – sales – security)
- Work with inventory reports and reconcile inventory
- Responsible for vehicle movement to the sale location and through auction sale lanes
- Manage lane leaders to ensure safety and expectations are met
Education:
- Highschool Diploma or more
Experience:
- Supervisor

Environment:
- Working in this position is subject to outdoor weather to include heat, cold, and rain.
