The Opportunity

Lonestar Forklift is looking for a motivated Outside Sales Representative for our Customer Service Representative role in Longview, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for driving new sources of revenue and managing relationships with Lonestar Service customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As the Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

• Drive new Service and Parts revenue within an assigned territory
• Meet sales targets by adding new accounts to maintenance programs and establishing maintenance plans for customers
• Prospect for new business, effectively managing sales leads, and securing new customer accounts by offering tailored solutions
• Maintain customer satisfaction and retention for assigned accounts
• Conduct regular customer site visits and meet with new prospective customers
• Produce leads and opportunities for all Lonestar Forklift business units
• Tactfully and professionally negotiate with customers to close deals
• Track leads and maintain accurate records in the CRM system
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

• At least one year of previous outside B2B sales experience is preferred
• Previous heavy-duty machinery or material handling industry experience is a strong asset but not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• A go-getter attitude and strong drive to succeed
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the region as needed

The base pay for this role is $45,000 per year plus commission.

This is an onsite role based in Longview, Texas.
