Position Summary
As an HVAC Maintenance Technician, you'll perform scheduled preventative maintenance on residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems. You'll help customers keep their equipment operating safely and efficiently while identifying potential issues before they become major repairs.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and providing exceptional customer service.
Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- 7:30 AM-5:00 PM
- Occasional overtime during peak seasons
Shop Location Castroville, TX
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on residential and light commercial HVAC equipment
- Inspect heating and cooling systems for proper operation and efficiency
- Clean coils, replace filters, and perform routine system maintenance
- Identify worn or damaged components and communicate repair recommendations
- Complete service documentation using company software
- Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle
- Deliver professional, courteous customer service during every visit
- Follow company safety standards and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean, insurable driving record
- HVAC technical school graduate or at least six months of HVAC maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Dependable with excellent attendance and a positive attitude
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- HVAC Technical School Certificate
- EPA Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Basic understanding of residential HVAC systems
