Head of ESG Operations

This is a full-time, remote or on-site Operations role based in San Francisco, CA. The Operations role is vague, but that's because you will oversee day-to-day workflow for ESG compliance projects, coordinate cross-functional activities, and ensure timely delivery of client commitments. If you're excited about the autonomy to work with AI, sustainability tools, and working closely with the founding team this is a great role for you.

Responsibilities include managing internal processes, monitoring performance metrics, optimizing operational efficiency, and supporting the implementation of the AI-powered platform with enterprise customers. The role involves collaborating closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to align operational plans with business goals, troubleshoot issues, and continuously refine best practices.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in ESG, sustainability reporting, compliance, or management consulting is beneficial.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data, optimize processes, and support decision-making.
• Experience building or experimenting with AI tools.
• Excellent communication skills for clear coordination with internal teams and enterprise clients.
• Experience in operations management, including process design, workflow optimization, and performance tracking.
• Project management capabilities to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple ESG reporting and platform implementation projects.
• Sales support experience or familiarity with revenue operations, particularly in SaaS or B2B enterprise environments.
• Comfort working with technology platforms; experience in SaaS, data analytics, or ESG tools is a plus.
