Key Responsibilities
- Lead engaging classroom sessions on topics such as air brake systems & tractor-trailer operations.
- Provide practical, behind-the-wheel instruction in compliance with FMCSA safety standards and industry best practices
- Develop and deliver instructional materials aligned with current commercial driving regulations
- Monitor student progress, assess performance, and deliver constructive feedback to support learning outcomes
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment at all times
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of tractor-trailer driving experience (required)
- Possession of a valid CDL Class A license (required)
- CDL endorsements (please list endorsements in application)
- Prior experience as a CDL Instructor or in adult education is preferred
- Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations and commercial vehicle operation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in English (Strongly Preferred)
