What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drum Music Teacher position at Lone Star School of Music?
Lone Star School of Music is looking for music teachers that can teach primarily drums and one other instrument to take on a part time contracting position.
Lone Star School of Music is looking for a music teacher that can teach beginner up to advanced students ages 5 years and up. Most of our students are between the ages of 8-14 years old. The music teacher should teach drums! Teaching a second or third instrument is definitely beneficial.
Contractors at Lone Star School of Music only need to worry about creating fun, personal music lessons for each of their students. There is no set curriculum to follow: we believe that each student is unique and it is our mission to be sure that we allow them a space to explore their own creative abilities with the proper guidance and encouragement.
Contractors have full access to our studio spaces that have pretty much anything you will need for any type of lessons. At Lone Star School of Music we believe in full support from supplying what you need for successful lessons to taking care of your scheduling, billing students and promoting and marketing your style of teaching to pair you with the right students. Of all music schools in the area, we have been rated number 1 by Top Choice Awards for 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2024 because of our amazing instructors and staff.
Lone Star School of Music offer the following types of lessons at the following pay rates - all lessons occur weekly - pay rate is dependent on skill set and experience:
- 30 Minute Private Lessons - $14-18/lesson
- 30 Minute Dual Lessons - $20-24/lesson
- 50 Minute Group Lesson - $28-36/lesson
There are also a host of other ways to make income with the school through our recitals and events.
Lone Star School of Music offers bonuses for different occasions. Usually there are about 3-4 bonuses each quarter you could be eligible for. Every teach is eligible to receive up to a $1 raise every quarter. Raises are based on performance.
We need a candidate that is ready to start ASAP with at least 6 students in the Lakeway area immediately!
