What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Sales Representative position at Lone Star Nights?
Lone Star Nights is a growing country dance instruction company specializing in interactive country swing and line dancing for large-scale events.
We're expanding into the corporate market, with a focus on company retreats, conferences, employee appreciation events, team-building experiences, and corporate celebrations with 200 attendees.
Our approach is simple: Give people the confidence to step outside their comfort zones, connect with others, and have an unforgettable time.
We're looking for an ambitious, commission-driven salesperson who wants to help build our corporate sales division from the ground up.
This is an early-stage opportunity for someone who believes in their ability to sell, develop professional relationships, and create opportunities where they don't already exist.
You'll start by pursuing smaller corporate contracts, establishing relationships, and helping us refine our sales strategy.
Over time, our goal is to secure larger corporate partnerships and event contracts valued at $20,000–$50,000 .
We're looking for someone who's willing to start small with us because they see the potential to build something much bigger.
- Identify companies that invest in corporate events, employee engagement, and company retreats.
- Connect with HR executives, event directors, executive assistants, and other corporate decision-makers.
- Build a pipeline of prospective corporate clients through cold outreach, networking, and referrals.
- Schedule discovery calls and present customized corporate event proposals.
- Negotiate and close corporate event contracts.
- Develop long-term relationships that generate repeat bookings and referrals.
- Collaborate directly with the founder to build and improve our corporate sales strategy.
- Help expand Lone Star Nights into corporate markets across the United States.
- Experience in B2B sales, business development, or commission-based selling preferred.
- Confident communicating with business owners, executives, and corporate decision-makers.
- Comfortable prospecting and generating leads independently.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable with the uncertainty of an early-stage business.
- Interested in building long-term client relationships rather than simply making one-time sales.
- Excited by the possibility of eventually closing high-value corporate contracts.
- Someone who thinks like a business builder, not just an employee.
This is a commission-based sales opportunity, with compensation tied to successfully closed business.
We're still establishing our corporate sales operation, so candidates should understand that this is not an established pipeline of guaranteed deals.
Our long-term goal is to pursue corporate contracts ranging from $20,000 to $50,000 , with the potential for larger opportunities as the company scales.
As the company grows, there may be opportunities to manage larger accounts, expand into new markets, and take on sales leadership responsibilities.
Specific commission terms and working arrangements will be discussed during the interview process.
Because you want to be involved in building something from the beginning.
You'll work directly with the founder, contribute to the company's corporate sales strategy, and have the opportunity to grow alongside the business.
This opportunity won't be for everyone. We're looking for someone comfortable with taking calculated risks, putting in the work, and pursuing long-term growth.
If you're confident in your ability to open doors, build corporate relationships, and turn opportunities into contracts, we'd like to meet you.
Salary : $20,000 - $50,000
