Lone Star Dairy Products is a dairy ingredient manufacturer in Canyon, Texas providing high quality dried milk powders, butter, and cream to customers throughout the US and globally.
Job Summary:
The Receiving Operator is part of a team responsible for unloading bulk tankers of milk and loading tankers with cream while ensuring all quality and regulatory requirements are met. This position is for the night shift (6pm-6am) and is on a 2 week rotating schedule.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review paperwork and ensure product meets quality standards
- Hook up tankers for unloading and washing
- Wash silos and receiving bays
- Input load data into process control system
- Loading tankers with product
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
- Conduct regulatory and quality testing
- Follow written and verbal procedures
- Additional tasks as assigned by Supervisors and Managers
Employment Requirements:
- Must pass a drug screening
- Must be able to follow all safety policies and attend safety training
- Applicant must be able to work 12 hour night shifts on a rotating schedule
- Must complete a pre-employment physical
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
- Must have reliable transportation
- General math, reading, and writing skills
- Dependable
- High School diploma or equivalent
