Financial Service Officer

Lone Star Credit Union is searching for a member-focused, energetic and friendly individual for the Terrell Branch. The FSO will develop relationships, build trust, and maintain integrity with every contact, including Members, potential Members, and co-workers.

Responsibilities include

• Opening new accounts and performing account maintenance
• Responding to inquiries and processing Member requests
• Processing drive-thru transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, account transfers
• Owning Member issues through resolution
• Identifying Member needs and recommending product and service solutions to enhance financial well-being

• Minimum of six months previous experience in a consultative sales position preferably from a financial institution. New account and general member service experience helpful.
• Passion for building relationships and providing exceptional service
• Ability to identify financial needs through effective communication (ability to listen, ask questions, and articulate response)
• Ability to educate Members about and make referrals to LSCU products & services
• Strong initiative and solution provider
• Ability to multi-task
• Proficient in utilizing PC, software, Microsoft Applications, and other office equipment
• Fluent in Spanish is helpful
