A Financial Service Officer (FSO) will develop relationships, build trust, and maintain integrity with every contact, including Members, potential Members, and co-workers. The FSO will walk Members and potential members through our Member journey and assist with utilization of our branch technology including NEXT, our self-service technology for deposits, withdrawals, and payments, discovery bar tablets to view our website, open an account, or apply for a loan, and an interactive kiosk for learning about LSCU.
Responsibilities:
- Opening new accounts and performing account maintenance
- Responding to inquiries and processing Member requests
- Processing drive-thru transactions utilizing video equipment and tube system
- Owning Member issues through resolution
- Identifying Member needs and recommending product and service solutions to enhance financial well-being
- Minimum of six months previous experience in a consultative sales position preferably from a financial institution. New account and general member service experience helpful.
- Passion for building relationships and providing exceptional service
- Ability to identify financial needs through effective communication (ability to listen, ask questions, and articulate response)
- Ability to educate Members about and make referrals to LSCU products & services
- Strong initiative and solution provider
- Ability to multi-task
- Proficient in utilizing PC, software, Microsoft Applications, and other office equipment
- Fluent in Spanish is required
