Position Overview
The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst is a customer facing role within our Operational Optimization Solutions team, tasked with building and maintaining a strategic analytics framework that drives informed leadership decisions and strengthens overall program performance. This key member of the company’s Operational Optimization Solutions team will be reporting to the Programs Manager, Training Solutions position. Operating at the intersection of data and mission execution, this role is responsible for collecting, cleaning, aggregating, and analyzing performance and training data to deliver actionable intelligence. The initial objective is to establish a strong foundation in analytics operations, laying the groundwork for advanced data capabilities that enhance decision-making across all echelons of leadership.
Due to government clearance requirements, this position requires that the applicant be a United States Citizen. Legal residents do not meet this requirement. All work will be performed on-site, in person at a secure facility. This is not a remote work position.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver operational clarity through accurate and timely data analysis
- Aggregate and clean data from multiple systems and sources related to human performance and development
- Create dashboards and visualizations to support program management and leadership oversight
- Contribute to continuous improvement aimed at refining the organization’s analytics infrastructure
- Develop and refine predictive and prescriptive analytics models and tools
- Support cross-functional teams with data-driven insights that sharpen execution and boost mission success
- Assist in the architecture and implementation of scalable data solutions
- Contribute to the roadmap for mature analytics capabilities
- Collaborate with performance staff, researchers, and government stakeholders to translate questions into data products
- Support the development and delivery of recurring reports and strategic updates
- Serve as a data force multiplier by integrating sources into a cohesive analytics environment
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and security of all data outputs
- Possess 2 years’ data mining, and/or 4 years in a data analyst role.
- Possess 5 years developing data tools, pipelines, and visualizations utilizing Palantir based software for a DoD program or unit.
- 2 years experience using Envision software
- Proficient understanding and working knowledge of computers, e-mail, voice mail, and telephone texts to perform duties.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Power BI, Word, Excel, Envision, and PowerPoint.
- A master’s degree in operations research; or at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics is required
- Must meet minimum requirements per the assigned work role codes according to DoDM 8140.03 Cyberspace Workforce Qualification and Management Program.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance; current clearance preferred
- Experience supporting Air Education and Training Command (AETC) environments
- MS or MEng degree in STEM field of study
- Exposure to predictive modeling or machine learning
