Watch Technician Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Watch Service Center as a Watch Technician Specialist for our Manhasset, NY location. This is a full-time, career-track opportunity designed for someone who takes pride in precision work and is eager to build a long-term future in fine watchmaking.
No prior watchmaking experience is required. We provide extensive in-house training to develop the technical skills, craftsmanship standards, and discipline necessary to succeed and meet high-level horological standards.
Responsibilities:
- Follow standardized operating procedures (SOPs) within a structured sequential production line
- Repair broken, damaged, or worn parts on timepieces
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot mechanical movements during a repair and assembly stage
- Apply structured problem-solving and abstract thinking to identify root causes of assembly inconsistencies and resolve independently
- Perform visual and technical inspections at each stage of assembly to ensure compliance with quality and functionality
- Handle all components with extreme care, maintaining cleanliness and preventing contamination in a controlled environment
- Perform dial installation, hand setting, and casing-up of movements following strict manufacturer specifications
- Ensure precise alignment of hands and date jump accuracy
- Execute casing operations including correct seating of movement, dial and hands
- Assist in maintaining tools, equipment, and workbench organization according to Shop standards
- Request necessary parts, tools, and consumables in accordance with established procedures
- Meet defined production and quality targets
