Position Summary
As a Dispatcher at Lon Lockwood Electric, you’ll ensure technicians are scheduled efficiently and customers stay informed every step of the way. With pay of $18–$22 per hour plus bonuses, this role offers strong earning potential, excellent benefits, and the chance to support a growing, community-focused team.

Core Responsibilities:
- Huddle: Report previous days results and forecast daily revenue goals based on collected revenue.
- Follow the Dispatch Process- Prepare: be fully prepared to dispatch calls in accordance with company goals- Schedule: Assign jobs to technicians with the goal of maximizing opportunities utilizing the Maximum Capacity Tracker- Dispatch: “Flex” your communication style to meet those of who you are communicating with. Accurately relay information and answer any technician or customer questions pertaining to the call.
- Inform customers that the technician is on the way with the request arrival notice.
- Update: Ensure that the customer is constantly aware of the status of their service call request
- 1st dispatch call made at 7:30am
- Status updates at 9am, 11am, 1pm (made via text unless specific request for verbal communication – all reschedule attempts must be made via a phone call)
- Optimize: Maximize opportunity by adjusting the existing schedule to accommodate higher priority, higher potential revenue calls.
- Record/Evaluate: Ensure that all pertinent information is received from the technician and calls are closed out appropriately
- Reschedule calls as necessary
- Tag and track all rescheduled calls to ensure they are not rescheduled more than once
- Happy Calls: completed on every call after the technician leaves the job (within 15 minutes)
- Thank you notes: write a note to customers daily
- Review calls from answering service & webform and book calls as necessary until 9 am, pass responsibility to CSR at 9 am. Respond to leads as soon as possible, but within 30 minutes.
- Review personal calls on the Service Titan dashboard daily. Help CSR classify abandoned calls as needed
- Back up CSR with inbound calls to ensure that calls to not roll over to the answering service
- Ability to make outbound calls utilizing the outbound script to fill the board
- Other duties assigned by management
