We are currently seeking a skilled Lead Carpenter with a broad range of residential construction experience. This individual will play a key role in managing day-to-day job site activities, maintaining high standards of workmanship, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage carpentry work on residential remodeling projects including kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and additions
- Perform and oversee framing, cabinetry installation, door and window installation, and finish trim work
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and team members to ensure smooth workflow and project progress
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Ensure work meets company quality standards and building codes
- Troubleshoot issues on site and implement practical solutions
- Communicate professionally with homeowners when needed
- Assist in training and guiding less experienced carpenters and laborers
Qualifications:
- 5 years of residential carpentry or remodeling experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of framing, cabinetry, trim work, and general carpentry techniques
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must have personal hand tools commonly required for carpentry work
