Warehouse Lead

The Role

Loloi Rugs is offering an excellent job opportunity for a Warehouse Lead position. The Warehouse Lead plans, organizes and monitors the shipping of all products received, ensuring a smooth and consistent operation so products are located and distributed properly in an effective and efficient manner as needed.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for team's safety, quality, productivity, housekeeping standards, and customer delivery goals and metrics.

· Leads the team to participate in decision making, problem solving, and continuous improvement processes.

· Provides supervision, guidance, and support to all team members regarding operations, standardized procedures, and systems applications that fosters an environment for learning.

· Picks orders using RF scanner to find locations, items needed and correct quantities.

· Packs orders properly and check orders by line item to ensure orders are picked correctly

· Make proper assignments and ensure efficient allocation of resources.

· Maintain a safe and healthful working environment by promoting safety at all levels of the operation.

· Assist with audits/inventory

· Other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

· Minimum 3 years of relevant warehouse experience

· Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written)

· Strong attention to detail

· Expertise with PC and Microsoft Office products required

· Ability to motivate, measure, and lead teams effectively

· Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.

· Knowledge of proper safety procedures, equipment maintenance and warehouse best practices.

· The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

· Ability to standing for long periods of time while carrying and moving items of different sizes

· Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions.

Amazon Shipping Experience a plus

Requirements:

· High School Diploma/GED

· Associate Degree-Preferred
