Social Content Creator & Creative Lead

This is a creative role for someone who can do it all: concept, art direct, shoot, and edit social-first content across Instagram and TikTok for both Loloi and our sister brand, Joon Loloi. The ideal candidate is equal parts creative thinker and hands-on producer, comfortable owning a concept from initial idea through final deliverable.

This role reports to the Senior Director of Brand Marketing across both the Loloi Rugs and Joon Loloi brands, and manages a Social Video Editor who supports post-production and content output.

The right candidate brings a strong point of view on social content, a sharp eye for visual storytelling in the home and lifestyle space, and the technical chops to execute both in-studio and on location.

Responsibilities:

• Concept, art direct, shoot, and edit social-first content for Instagram and TikTok across both Loloi Rugs and Joon Loloi brands.
• Develop creative concepts that translate brand stories into scroll-stopping content, including trend-driven Reels and TikToks, behind-the-scenes moments, product features, and lifestyle storytelling.
• Lead shoots both in our Dallas creative studio and on location, including styling, lighting, and directing on-camera talent as needed.
• Manage and direct a Social Video Editor, delegating post-production work, providing clear creative briefs and feedback, and ensuring output meets brand standards across both brands.
• Edit video and photo content with a strong sense of pacing, sound design, and platform-native style.
• Stay ahead of platform trends, formats, and cultural moments, and bring fresh ideas to the team proactively.
• Partner closely with the Senior Director of Brand Marketing, Studio Manager, Social Media team, and key stakeholders across both brands to align on creative direction, priorities, and delivery timelines.
• Maintain clear, consistent communication with cross-functional teams regarding content requests, project timelines, and delivery expectations.
• Track ongoing content projects in Basecamp, keeping assignment status current.
• This role operates in a fast-paced, reactive environment, so the ideal candidate is highly adaptable and comfortable with shifting priorities.
• Travel required for on-location shoots, approximately 25%.

Qualifications:

• A strong creative voice with demonstrated ability to concept and execute social content that performs.
• Deep fluency in Instagram and TikTok: what works, what doesn't, and what's next.
• Technical proficiency across the full content pipeline: shooting (photo and video), lighting, audio capture, and editing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom) and CapCut or equivalent mobile-first editing tools. Capture One a plus.
• Strong art direction instincts, including styling, composition, and on-set decision-making.
• Comfortable being on both sides of the camera when needed.
• Experience managing or directing a direct report, with the ability to give clear feedback and elevate the work of others.
• A strong understanding of how content functions across social, e-commerce, and broader marketing channels.
• Comfortable juggling multiple projects, brands, and deadlines simultaneously.
• The right candidate shows up with a collaborative, accountable, and no-ego approach. They display a positive attitude, take feedback well, and support others.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
• Strong work ethic and self-starter mentality.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience creating social-first content for a brand, agency, or as a creator with a proven track record.
• A portfolio that demonstrates range across concepting, shooting, and editing for social platforms.
• Candidates based in Dallas, TX and the surrounding metroplex are highly desired. This role is required to be on-site 5 days a week, Monday through Friday from 9am to 6pm or 8am to 5pm.
