We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to support our warehouse operations in Dallas, Lancaster, and Ennis, TX. Initially, this role will oversee and provide HR support for our Dallas and Lancaster facilities. With the launch of our new, state-of-the-art 1,000,000 sq. ft. distribution center in Ennis (expected Summer 2026), the HR Manager will transition to being fully based on-site in Ennis, Monday through Friday. Candidates should be comfortable commuting to Dallas and Lancaster during the interim period and prepared to establish a permanent presence in Ennis once the facility becomes operational.
The HR Manager will be responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the Human Resources function at Loloi. This role oversees all core HR activities, including onboarding and offboarding, leave management, employee relations, investigations, training, recruitment, compliance, and the enforcement of company policies and practices.
This is a full-time, in-person position, based onsite five days per week.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Warehouse leadership and HR Director to execute the HR goals and objectives for the company.
- Maintain a professional, business-minded approach to human resources when: (1) providing support and guidance on HR issues; (2) addressing issues.
- Oversee and perform new hire orientation employee onboarding and retention efforts. Continuously improve the onboarding experience for new employees.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations, and recommend best practices.
- Administer and oversee the full cycle of FMLA leave management, ensuring compliance while supporting employees through the process.
- Compile and report on HR data (metrics) to identify trends, monitor progress towards HR and business goals, and provide insights for decision-making.
- Establish, review, modify, and enforce policies and practices to maintain compliance with local, state, and federal laws; advise ownership and management on potential impact and needed actions
- Advise on employee relations matters, including advising on pre-hire background check results, performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions including terminating employees.
- Respond to claims of unemployment and represent the company in appeals.
- Oversee the organization’s response to investigations involving discrimination, harassment, and other related workplace matters.
- Implement and ensure equitable execution of the performance appraisal process, working with site leadership to meet company expectations.
- Oversee “non-subscriber” workplace injury claims.
- Prepare and deliver training on various HR topics.
- Assist the Payroll and Benefits team with the employee benefits programs.
- Ensuring compliance with payroll, time & attendance, compensation practices and laws surrounding payroll & benefits.
- Oversee full-cycle recruiting for DC/Warehouse positions.
- Participate in accident investigations, documentation, medical treatment, and follow-up for employees.
- Assist with creating and analyzing employee reports and statistics as directed.
- Supervise warehouse HR staff.
- Demonstrate a high level of ethical conduct and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive personnel information.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal employment laws, regulations, and guidelines, with working knowledge of immigration laws.
- Broad understanding of all areas of Human Resources, with in-depth expertise in core HR functions outlined in Responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of HR systems, databases, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Exceptional communication skills — able to interact across all levels of management, communicate with professionalism and tact, and actively listen to foster collaboration.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships, influence stakeholders, and provide proactive guidance on issues, risks, and needs.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive or difficult conversations with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges, evaluate solutions, and implement effective actions.
- High level of adaptability — able to perform in a fast-paced, evolving environment and pivot quickly as priorities change.
- Effective at managing multiple projects and competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

- Willingness and ability to travel for business as needed.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Must be bilingual in Spanish and English, with strong proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in HR.
- SHRM-CP or SCP or PHR or SPHR certified preferred.
