Description:The Design Assistant – Wovens supports the French Toast Design and Merchandising teams throughout the product development lifecycle. This role focuses on sketching, digital rendering, and sample organization to ensure timely, accurate, and creative execution of all woven styles. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about design, apparel development, and the creative process.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & DevelopmentSketch and color new woven styles and create Mac Pacs for production.Fit and render all woven styles using 3D Browzwear for catalog and sales team needs.Update woven Mac Pacs and PLM styles with current information and revisions.Organization & SupportOrganize and maintain sample closets and racks.Steam samples and prepare for fittings, meetings, and photoshoots.Create category boards at the end of each selling season to assess sales performance and business growth.Cross-Functional CollaborationAssist Sales with showroom setup, upkeep, and presentation needs.Partner with Marketing to create product marketing content and visuals.Support the Design and Merchandising teams with new DTS (Design to Source) inquiries and sample tracking.Functional RelationshipsWorks closely with the following departments:Design, Merchandising, Technical Design, Sourcing, Production, Marketing, and Sales.Work Experience Requirements0–2 years of experience with color, design, graphics, and patternmaking.Education RequirementsCandidate must have at least a 2-year degree in a related field, as well as a design internship.Required SkillsProficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.Knowledge of patternmaking and Microsoft Office required.Experience with 3D design software (Browzwear) and PLM systems preferred.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Effective communication and teamwork skills.Requirements:
