Housekeeper

Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of all residential areas.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and janitorial tools.
• Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting, outdoor work, and outdoor cleaning projects with proper safety techniques.
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and provide exceptional customer service.
• Maintain organized cleaning supplies inventory and ensure all surfaces are cleaned to the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work or janitorial services.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures including sanitation standards, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and surface disinfection.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and appropriate handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely.
• Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration.
