Laundry Attendant and Delivery Driver

Lola’s Laundry is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Customer Service Associate and Delivery Driver to join our team in Georgetown, Kentucky! This role involves picking up and delivering laundry orders within a 20-mile radius while ensuring top-tier service for our valued customers. Also, this role will involve processing orders at the laundry facility and interfacing with walk in customers. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens and garments within our facility. This position is essential for ensuring that all laundry is laundered to the given standards, and processed/delivered in a timely manner, contributing to the overall guest experience in our professional laundromat environment.

Duties

• Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to launder linens, towels, and guest garments.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store clean laundry items according to established procedures.
• Ensure that all items are cleaned according to quality standards and specifications.
• Perform spot removal cleaning tasks as needed for specific garments or items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to management promptly.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and operating machinery.
• Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and notify management of low stock levels.
• Interact with customers in a positive manner insure their needs are met and their experience with Lola's Laundry makes them a repeat customer.
• Ability to operate a Point of Sale (POS) register and customer orders.
• Operate company van in a safe and professional manner, to pickup and deliver orders from customers in Georgetown, KY and surrounding counties.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role within a hotel environment is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of laundering techniques and dry cleaning processes is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in customer service environment.
• Ability to manage cash transactions and operate a POS cash register.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift loads under 30lbs, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Have a good driving record for driving company van
