Lola's Cafe is seeking a reliable, positive line cook to join our kitchen team.
We’re a busy café focused on quality food, teamwork, and creating a welcoming environment for both guests and staff. We’re looking for someone who can move with urgency, stay organized under pressure, and work well with others.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Breakfast/brunch experience is a plus
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work clean and efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper kitchen hygiene practices
- Team player with a good attitude
- Mornings/daytime hours required; Weekend availability preferred
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items consistently and efficiently according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of station
- Follow prep lists and kitchen procedures
- Communicate clearly with team members during service
- Help maintain food quality and kitchen standards
