Warehouse Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee employees Stockers, Pullers, Drivers, Auditors. Organizes all sales delivered out of Englewood branch
• Assist other Supervisors
• Oversee any equipment or parts material that is sent out via truck deliveries, UPS and Common Carrier.
• Schedule all orders that require a specific deliver time and or a crane meet
• Aid in the interview process of new hires
• Utilize Paylocity to approve time for pay periods and PTO – correct missed punches on time cards. Review employee time off requests with manager.
• Prepare and conduct initial 90 day reviews and annual reviews
• Provide Weekly Dept. Status Report and Monthly Scorecard
• Review and develop Semi-annual department goals
• Review and develop Training Plan tailored to individual employee needs
• Knowledgeable and able to enforce Company Policies
• Identify and correct Safety issues. Ensure safety of all personnel
• Report any incidents using  the incident report form (equipment, factory damage, employee)
• Aid in return to vendors for the purchasing and Warranty dept.

Day-to-Day Activities

Pre-Delivery

• Coordinate with various trucking companies to deliver LTL loads
• Determine location to place loads while receiving

Deliveries

• Oversee offloading of trucks
• Endure loads have proper quantities
• Identify damaged product using Carriers packing assessment App. 
• Report all discrepancies to purchasing.
• Perform Inventory Adjustment
• Open P21 and get all workbenches displayed and going
• Put shop delivery on every delivery going out
• Put deliveries in POD’s
• Clear unallocated items in shipping bins, investigate any transfers that were not shipped
• Perform constant follow up for urgent transfers throughout the day.
• Print Reports, transfer form report, pick ticket, open & confirmed, unallocated items in shipping bins.
• Double check requested shipping orders on board
• Communicate specialty cross dock transfers
• Work on sales ordering for staged next day delivery
• Check for any urgent transfers that are SOLD for next day delivery
• Manage driver returns (warranty & RMA’s) by end of day.
• Drive sales to a jobsite or shop when necessary          

Stocking

• Make sure all items have valid bar codes
• Correct all wireless receiving issues
• Validate the product (audit) prior to stocking

Warehouse

• Consolidate stock to ensure efficiency for pullers and inventory control
• Work with inventory Control to investigate and resolve issues
• Maintain the Warehouse Marking system. (Labels and Bin Numbers.)

Fleet

• Arrange PM’s every 10,000 Miles (MHC)
• Schedule all repairs

UPS Common Carrier

• Call for quote or rate before shipping product, share with order taker
• Create bill of lading for every order
• Call two hours before close of day to guarantee pickup of Common Carrier
