Driver

Lohmiller & Company dba Carrier West is a leading HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning) distributor in the Rocky Mountain region for over 30 years. We partner with the contractors, engineers and developers to provide comfort solutions for buildings and structures of all types and sizes. People and products make our organization the leader that it is today. Full Time position Monday - Friday 11 am to 8 pm.

Requirements

• Clean Driving Record
• Current MVR
• Medical Certificate
• Strong familiarity with DOT regulations and procedures
• Strong Time management

Key Responsibilities

• Working hours are 12pm-9pm
• Provide three previous employer forms
• Provide copy of motor vehicle record for preceding 3 years
• Complete the MVR Introduction Letter & consent form for LCDCs insurance company
• Perform Driver Road Test
• Undergo Medical exam by certified medical examiner
• IF CDL driver, CDL or MVR report showing valid medical certification status information.
• Follow accident procedures
• Follow traffic laws
• Keep activity log and hours
• Maintain a positive attitude with customers
• Committed to work safely
• Perform unscheduled and last minute deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction

Daily

• Vehicle Inspection Fill out Driver vehicle Inspection Daily (first driver of the day)
• Inspection report- Turn in with daily route sheet to supervisor
• Report any DOT failures immediately to Supervisor or shipping manager
• Responsible for Loading truck properly and securing items to prevent damage
• Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.
• Load and unload product
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure orders are complete and correct.
• Obtain signatures to confirm and complete deliveries
• Remove trash after deliver run
• Complete time entry and all other required paperwork accurately
• Fill out Gas RMA paperwork for gas return and gas bottler exchange
• Downtime- Sweep warehouse, empty trash bins, work cardboard compactor

Weekly

• Clean inside of cab
• Sweep box
