We are seeking a friendly, organized, and tech-savvy individual to join our team as a Salon Receptionist. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, an eye for beauty trends, and the ability to create engaging content on Instagram and TikTok. You’ll be the first point of contact for our clients and play a vital role in promoting our salon’s services and products online.
Key Responsibilities
- Front Desk Management: Greet clients with a warm, welcoming attitude; handle check-ins, check-outs, and appointment scheduling.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service, anticipate client needs, and ensure a positive salon experience from start to finish.
- Product Knowledge & Upselling: Stay informed about our hair and beauty products to effectively recommend and upsell to clients.
- Social Media Coordination: Capture photo/video content of transformations and services, then post on Instagram and TikTok. Engage with followers, respond to comments, and grow our online presence.
- Administrative Tasks: Answer phone calls, manage bookings, process payments, and maintain a clean, organized front desk area.
Qualifications
- Customer Service Expertise: Prior experience in a customer-facing role (salon, retail, hospitality) is preferred.
- Social Media Skills: Demonstrable experience or strong familiarity with Instagram and TikTok for business.
- Sales & Product Knowledge: Comfortable recommending and selling beauty/hair products to clients.
- Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, plus a professional demeanor.
- Organization & Time Management: Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Passion for Beauty: A genuine interest in hair, beauty trends, and helping clients look and feel their best.
- Bilingual — Russian (preferred) Or Spanish speaking
Must be available during these days:
- Monday: Opening shift (8:15 AM–6:30/7:00 PM)
- Tuesday: Closing shift (2:30 PM–6:30/7:00 PM)
- One Saturday per month: Full shift (8:15 AM–6:30/7:00 PM)
