Head of Information Technology (IT)

Logos Space is a Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite system purpose-built to serve the connectivity needs of the commercial enterprise users and government users. We will help fill an important gap in the market, providing resilient, high-performance satellite-based connectivity services to enterprise and government customers worldwide. Business customers have contracts with agreed-upon performance standards for their broadband, and Logos will build these capabilities into the system from the beginning. Speed and reliability are the foundation of the system. Logos is designed to extend cloud and data center network connectivity anywhere in the world to fixed, seaborne, and airborne terminals.

Logos is led by a team of highly experienced engineers with proven track records in the networking and satellite industries.

Position Summary & Responsibilities

The IT organization at Logos Space is responsible for building and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performing internal systems that support a rapidly growing, mission-critical environment. The Head of IT will lead all aspects of IT strategy, infrastructure, security, and operations across the organization.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall IT strategy, infrastructure, and operations across the organization
• Build and scale internal systems including networking, cloud infrastructure, and end-user support
• Establish and maintain cybersecurity standards, policies, and compliance frameworks
• Oversee IT support, systems administration, and enterprise applications
• Partner with engineering and leadership teams to support business and mission needs
• Manage vendors, tools, and technology investments
• Develop and lead a high-performing IT team
  
  

Basic Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  
  

Experience

• 10 years of experience in IT leadership or infrastructure roles
• Experience building and scaling IT systems in high-growth environments
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, networking, and enterprise systems
• Experience with security frameworks and compliance
• Proven leadership and team management experience
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace, satellite, or highly regulated industries
• Experience supporting heavy engineering organizations
• Familiarity with compliance environments requiring secure systems
• Ability to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance
  
  

Estimated Base Salary

• $230,000 - $270,000 per year (L7/D1)
• Your level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Compensation Range: $250K - $310K
