We are seeking a skilled and reliable Lease Operator to join our team. The Lease Operator will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing daily production operations across assigned wells and facilities. This role ensures compliance with safety standards, regulatory guidelines, and company policies while maintaining efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Monitoring and Operations:
- Monitor oil, gas, and water production on assigned leases.
- Record accurate daily production data and report any anomalies.
- Perform routine inspections of wells, equipment, tanks, and flow lines.
- Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Conduct minor repairs and adjustments to equipment, including pumps, separators, compressors, and valves.
- Identify and report maintenance issues requiring additional support.
- Ensure all equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
- Regulatory and Environmental Compliance:
- Ensure operations comply with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Promptly address spills or leaks and report incidents to the appropriate parties.
- Optimization and Efficiency:
- Implement strategies to optimize well performance and minimize downtime.
- Work closely with the production team to identify opportunities for increased efficiency.
- Safety and Reporting:
- Adhere to all company safety policies and participate in safety meetings.
- Maintain detailed and accurate production reports and submit them timely.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Previous experience as a Lease Operator, Production Operator, or similar role in the oil and gas industry is required.
- Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient in using software or mobile applications for production reporting.
- Excellent time management and the ability to work independently.
- Certifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- H2S, CPR, or other relevant safety certifications (preferred but not required).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
