Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. As a vital member of our physical therapy team, the ideal candidate will assist our licensed physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with licensed physical therapists to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Provide hands-on assistance and guidance to patients during therapeutic exercises and activities.
- Monitor and document patient progress, including range of motion, strength, and functional abilities.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises for home exercise programs
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy area, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for patients.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Valid New Jersey licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with patients.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
