What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician-Dallas position at Logoplaste?
This role is a more advanced technical position than our standard Maintenance Technician. We are looking for a strong industrial mechanic with advanced electrical and controls troubleshooting capability.
Key experience we are looking for:
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience
- Bearings, gearboxes, chains, conveyors, shafts, couplings, pumps and other mechanical components
- Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Equipment disassembly/reassembly, alignment, adjustments and preventive maintenance
- Strong industrial electrical troubleshooting, 24V to 480V
- Ability to read and troubleshoot electrical schematics
- PLC troubleshooting and basic programming
- Sensors, photoeyes, proximity switches and other control devices
- VFDs, motors, relays, contactors and electrical panels
- Automated manufacturing equipment
The person needs to be comfortable troubleshooting the complete machine and determining whether the issue is mechanical, electrical, controls or process related.
In addition to maintenance responsibilities, this person will gradually be developed in machine processing, recipe management and blow molding process troubleshooting.
Target candidate: strong industrial mechanic with solid electrical/controls skills and the ability to grow into process troubleshooting.
Experience: ideally 3–5 years in industrial manufacturing, automation, packaging or a similar technical environment.
Pay: $36/hr
Schedule: M–F, 8-hour day shift
