Print Team Lead (3043)

Job Title: Print Team Lead
Schedule: Day Shift (6:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

Starting Pay: $18-21/hr

Job Summary:

The Print Team Lead oversees all aspects of the pre-production process, including setting up production artwork, managing the print workflow, and supervising the print team to ensure goals are met. This role focuses on resolving issues, maintaining efficiency, and facilitating clear communication between print and decoration team leads while upholding quality and pace.

Daily Responsibilities include:

• Effective communication:
  • With the Production Coordinator to ensure print priorities are clear
  • With the Production Manager to communicate issues, priorities, etc.
• Setting up production art with the goal of clearing all lines each day.
• Manage print funnel on the front end – pulling work in a timely manner and maintaining print calendar.
• Ensure print operators are set up to run efficiently and reallocate labor as needed to accomplish daily goals.
• Ensure equipment is well maintained. If there are any issues, contact Technicians and inform the Production Manager.
• Ensure flow of production orders being printed in and out of print room is smooth and efficient (nothing getting stuck, being printed out of order)
• Ensure special orders are prepped in time for production team to hit deadlines.
• Monitor employee productivity and adherence to procedures (print quality, production calendar, hitting goals); provide coaching where needed.

• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency.
• Ensure entire team maintains a clean working environment.
• Maintain and restock printing supplies & material.

Requirements  

• Adobe Illustrator Experience

• General computer skills/knowledge  

• Full time required  

• Must be able to stand for long periods 

• Must be able to lift 30 lbs 

• Must be able to work in a production environment including chemicals, large machinery, etc. 

Salary : $18 - $21
