Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Azure Technical Delivery Manager with a strong background in Microsoft technologies to lead the successful delivery of enterprise-scale cloud and application development projects. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in .NET technologies, Azure Cloud, Agile delivery, and stakeholder management, along with the ability to drive cross-functional teams toward high-quality, on-time project execution.

This role requires a blend of technical leadership, project management, client engagement, and delivery governance to support mission-critical initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Delivery Management

• Lead the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for enterprise applications built on Microsoft .NET and Azure technologies.

• Define and manage project scope, timelines, release schedules, resource planning, risks, and dependencies.

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with quality standards.

• Coordinate effectively with development, QA, DevOps, architecture, infrastructure, and business teams.

• Track delivery metrics and proactively manage risks, issues, and escalations.

Technical Leadership

• Provide technical oversight and guidance across:

  • .NET / .NET Core

  • C#

  • REST APIs & Web APIs

  • Microservices Architecture

  • Azure Cloud Services

  • CI/CD & DevOps practices

• Review technical designs, architecture documents, implementation plans, and effort estimates.

• Collaborate with solution architects to design scalable, secure, and cloud-native solutions.

• Support best practices for application modernization and cloud adoption initiatives.

Stakeholder & Client Management

• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and client leadership.

• Facilitate project status meetings, sprint reviews, demos, and executive reporting.

• Translate business requirements into actionable technical deliverables and sprint plans.

• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies effectively.

Team Leadership & Agile Execution

• Lead and mentor distributed onsite/offshore teams including developers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and Scrum teams.

• Drive Agile delivery practices and facilitate ceremonies such as:

  • Sprint Planning

  • Daily Stand-ups

  • Sprint Reviews

  • Retrospectives

• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence.

Process Improvement & Governance

• Implement best practices in software development, cloud governance, DevOps automation, and release management.

• Ensure compliance with enterprise security, architectural, and regulatory standards.

• Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, quality improvement, and delivery efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 15 years of overall IT industry experience, including 3–5 years in a Technical Delivery Manager / Project Manager capacity.

• Strong hands-on technical expertise in:

  • .NET / .NET Core

  • C#

  • ASP.NET Web API

  • Microservices Architecture

• Extensive experience with Azure services including:

  • Azure App Services

  • Azure Functions

  • Azure Key Vault

  • Azure SQL

  • Storage Accounts

  • Azure Service Bus

  • API Management

  • Azure Monitoring & Logging

• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD implementation using:

  • Azure DevOps

  • Git

  • YAML Pipelines

  • Automated Deployments

• Strong understanding of:

  • Cloud-native architecture

  • Containers & Orchestration (AKS/Docker)

  • RESTful integrations

  • Enterprise application delivery

• Proven success delivering large-scale applications in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience managing geographically distributed onsite/offshore delivery teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Azure Certifications preferred.

• Experience with enterprise digital transformation or cloud migration initiatives is a plus.

• Strong understanding of modern SDLC, DevSecOps, and automation frameworks.
