Student Transportation Driver (1099 Independent Contractor)

Location: Kansas City Metro (Missouri & Kansas)

Logistics LLC is seeking dependable, safety-focused drivers to transport students safely to and from school, educational programs, and approved activities. This is a flexible weekday opportunity that's perfect for anyone looking to earn supplemental income while making a positive impact in their community.
Compensation
- Starting at $28 per individual route
- Opportunity to complete 4–6 routes per day based on availability
- Pay varies based on route assignments, number of students, trip distance, and route availability
Please Note: This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position. Drivers use their own qualifying vehicle.
Schedule & Hours
Monday–Friday (School Calendar)
- Morning Routes: 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM
- Afternoon Routes: 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school.
- Follow assigned routes and maintain a professional, punctual, and safe driving record.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route updates.
- Provide excellent customer service to students and families.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be 21 years or older
- Have a valid driver's license with at least 3 years of driving experience
- Have a clean driving record
- Own a reliable 4-door vehicle (15 years old or newer)
- Maintain current vehicle registration and insurance
- Own a smartphone with GPS capability
- Pass all required onboarding, including:
- Criminal background check
- State and federal fingerprint-based background checks (including FBI fingerprinting, as required)
- Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review
- 19-point vehicle inspection
